Best Athleisure Wear of the Season

Summertime is here, and that means it’s time to get into a better workout routine, and the spring/summer apparel is out in full bloom to help. This season’s athleisure wear is testing the limits of what you can get away with from work to the gym and back again. Expanding the uses of your workout wear expands your closet and your time spent doing the things you love, not changing your clothes.

Better Bras

Celebrities have been playing with the trend of strappy sports bras, and this spring they’ll be even more visible (literally and figuratively). You’ll be seeing more of this trend in the gym and on the streets. This number by MICHI is a strappy option that can play under a workout tank or a casual top. Or give this one a try from Beyond Yoga. Shirt optional! This colorful number by Zella gives you straps, mesh, and options for work to play.

Insane Leggings

It’s beginning to be impossible to tell an activewear legging from a work/play legging. These by KORAL will keep your gym time a secret for wherever you are before or after. And you’ll be the coolest kid in HIIT class. These by Alo are a great option for those busy days where you don’t want to worry about what to wear to work then the gym. This funky pair by Y-3 is an awesome option to mix up your convertible wardrobe.

Metallic Sneakers

Metallic is huge this season, and the athleisure circuit isn’t missing out. From slip-ons to workout, metallic is laying it on thick in the footwear scene. These sneakers by Sperry are versatile and can serve your city walking needs and take you into the office with no problem. These by Nine West are just interesting and I can’t get enough of them. For even more metallic, try these by Cole Haan for a shiny punch.

Bomber Jackets

This style is extremely versatile and will be huge this spring/summer. This number by Public School is a great option from day to night. Throw it on for work and throw it on after a workout and you’re good to go. No need for two jackets. This jacket by Zella can also be used for workouts or work meetings with ease.
